Crypto Prices in Pakistan
Major cryptocurrencies in US dollars, with a rupee figure derived at the interbank USD/PKR rate. Crypto trades continuously, so these are the last values recorded rather than a market close — treat them as indicative.

How the rupee figure is worked out
The PKR column is the dollar price multiplied by the interbank rate of 277.33 rupees to the dollar. It is a conversion, not a quote: no exchange in Pakistan will fill an order at exactly this figure. Local peer-to-peer trades routinely clear at a premium to the international price.
This page reports prices only. It is not advice to buy or hold any of these assets, and it takes no position on their legal status in Pakistan, which has changed more than once and is worth checking against the State Bank's current guidance.
Why a local price differs from the one shown here
The figures above are international market prices. What someone in Pakistan can actually transact at is usually different, for reasons that have nothing to do with the asset:
- Rupee liquidity. Moving between rupees and crypto is not frictionless here, and thin local liquidity shows up as a premium over the international price on peer-to-peer trades.
- Which dollar rate. This page converts at interbank. A local trade effectively converts at something closer to the open-market rate, which is higher, so the rupee figure you are quoted will usually exceed the one in this table.
- Fees and spreads. Exchange fees, network fees and the bid-ask spread all sit between a quoted price and a filled order.
Why a fuel price site tracks crypto at all
For the same reason it tracks the dollar and the KSE-100: they are the numbers people in Pakistan check alongside the fuel price, and they share one driver. The rupee exchange rate sets what imported fuel costs and what a dollar-denominated asset is worth in local terms at the same time. When the rupee weakens, the pump price rises and the rupee value of these holdings rises with it — the same movement seen from two directions.
Unlike the fuel prices on this site, which come from official OGRA notifications, these are third-party market quotes. They are refreshed hourly while markets are open, and anything older than three days is dropped rather than shown, because a stale crypto price is more misleading than none.
